Get PHP 5 Now
As you may have already noticed, PHP 5 is now available for use on our shared hosting servers. Now, with any new shared plan you order that supports PHP (Personal/Business Intermediate, any ASP.NET or ColdFusion MX plan), you will have a choice between PHP 4 or PHP 5 in the online order form.

If you have an existing plan and want to move to a server that has PHP 5 installed on it, please request a plan change in the WebControlCenter™. You’ll find this in the Support Request section, under the Customer Menu.

We also added a new Developer plan for PHP 5. For just $2.95/month, you can develop and test your PHP 5 applications and sites on a live server. And when you’re ready to take your site to a production server, you can easily request a plan change right in the WebControlCenter. More PHP Options
We recently upgraded our shared servers running PHP with the latest version of Zend Optimizer™ and added ionCube PHP Loader. Zend Optimizer v2.6.2 runs files encoded by the Zend Guard, the component that parses and executes PHP files, while enhancing the performance of PHP applications. The ionCube PHP Loader allows encrypted PHP code to be run on our servers.

WebControlCenter Enhancements
We’ve added some new features in the WebControlCenter (WCC). For our resellers and customers with multiple hosting plans, you now have access to a Customer Server Summary tool in the Customer menu. Once there, you can see a list of all of your primary websites with their corresponding Domain ID, Domain Date (start date at CrystalTech), Web Server, Mail Server, MS SQL Server and MySQL Server.

Therefore, upon receiving notification of an upgrade or scheduled maintenance, instead of looking throughout the WCC for information about each particular site that will be affected, you can view this quick summary to see which servers your domains are using. The summary also includes a link to each site so you can conveniently access that particular domain in the WCC quickly.

You can now also conveniently apply for CTmerchant, CTmerchantlite and CTinsurance directly from within the WebControlCenter. You find these convenient small business services applications in the Resources menu.

90,000 Domain Milestone
Recently, we passed the 90,000 hosted domain mark, and now we can start the countdown to our 100,000th domain! We would like to take this time to thank all of our customers for your business and helping us reach another milestone. Your support and suggestions over these last ten years have helped us become of one the largest Windows hosts in the industry.
