The New CrystalTech Website
If you haven’t seen it before now, we invite you to take a look at the new and improved CrystalTech.com. With this latest redesign of our website we set our sights on simplification and streamlining of navigation, site content and overall look and feel. We believe we met our goals, and that you’ll be able to find the information you need and the services you want to order much faster and easier.

Have questions about our hosting plans or looking for information on our available business services? Instead of a complicated top menu structure, our simplified navigation menu provides fast page selection in the left side bar column. Not only does this remove the clutter that was found in our old menu, now you can find what you are looking for much quicker than before!

Want to order a new shared or dedicated hosting plan? Our new ordering form has been condensed for more convenient and easier ordering. Now, there are fewer steps, from seven down to five, taking less of your valuable time while we will still get your shared plan ready in less than an hour. In addition, each individual service that is available for order has an “order now” button attached. Clicking that “order now” automatically selects that service as you go through the ordering process, again saving time and eliminating the chance of ordering the wrong hosting plan.

For new clients, colleagues, friends and family members you might recommend to use our hosting services, we invite you to check out screenshots and free demos for CTmail, CTstats and CTsitecenter. Each of these products is included when you order virtually any of our shared hosting plans. Adding screenshots and demos demonstrates both the power and ease-of-use of these crucial applications.

At the end of each month, their awards panel visits the top voted web hosts and determines who should be awarded. Host Index, who refer to themselves as “The Web’s Largest Hosting Directory,” offers a chance to vote for your favorite host at http://www.hostindex.com/ChooseVote.asp. They use this feedback to help them designate a Top 25 Web Host list each month.

You can also check out our awards page each month to resubmit your votes and see other updated voting locations. For example, CrystalTech is always nominated for “Readers’ Choice Awards” at publications like ColdFusion Developers Journal and .NET Developers Journal. Transfer Your Domain
From time to time, we like to use this newsletter to remind our customers of some of the services available that can save you time and money. If your domain name is registered elsewhere for more than $8.50 per year or if you would like to be able to simply renew your name directly through the Control Center, you can easily transfer your domain names to our registrar partner, MelbourneIT.

To begin this process, make sure that your domain name is not locked at your current registrar and your listed email address is current. Most registrars have an online management tool where you can verify this. Once you’ve verified this info, log in into the Control Center and access DNS-Domain Registration Admin for the domain you want to transfer. On the far right, click on the ‘Transfer’ link and fill in all the required fields.

MelbourneIT will contact your current registrar with the transfer request. Your current registrar will, in turn, contact you with the request to make sure it is valid. Next, respond to that email, granting your permission as the domain name owner for the transfer. That’s it! Your domain name will be moved to MelbourneIT, and we will charge you $8.50 and add one year to your registration.

Besides the low price, transferring your domain name allows you to renew the domain name each year easily through the Control Center. We begin sending our renewal notices 90 days out so you’ll always be aware when you are up for renewal.
