Control Center Additions
Our proprietary Control Center truly stands out as one-of-a-kind in the hosting
industry. Not only is the Control Center already packed with a ton of administration
tools, we continually add new, useful features to it for our customers. The best
control panel around just keeps getting better! You’ll find the most recent additions
listed below.
Domain Name Transfer Request
If you registered your domain with another company and want to move it to the registrar
we use (inww.com), we have added a new feature that makes transferring it easy.
This way, you have the ability to consolidate your web hosting and domain registration
to us and have access to both from within the Control Center. To begin the transfer
process, see the instructions by visiting the following page: Transfer Domain Name
Registration Process.
Passwords Hidden
This oft-requested feature has been on our radar for some time. The problem was
figuring out how to offer the convenience of password retrieval while maintaining
security standards?
Our answer? Give customers the ability to view their passwords, but only when they
want to see them. Therefore, when you want to see any password associated with your
hosting account (mail, FTP, Customer ID, etc.), simply click on the ‘Show Password’
link that appears next to the hidden word. Once you leave the page where the password
is displayed, it becomes hidden again.
Domain Description
Another requested feature for addition in the Control Center by customers was for
an easier way to distinguish between their different sites. With the new Domain
Description feature, you can give your plans a unique sense of individuality – and
make them easier to identify.
You will be able to differentiate between your multiple websites hosted with us
by adding unique descriptions for each of your plans. To learn how to use the Domain
Description, view Article #947 in our Knowledge Base.
